Fireweed applied for a Type A Land Use Permit (Permit) to conduct field investigations (drill based baseline studies and potentially limited exploration), establish a temporary tent-based camp, and repair, maintain, and use the existing Mactung Spur Road as part of the NWT-based Mactung NWT Field Investigations Project (the Project). These activities trigger the requirement for a land use permit, but fall below the threshold for a water licence.
